TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
Kilo, India, Lima, Lima! The Assaultron is one of Fallout’s most terrifying killer robots. Get too close, and it will eviscerate you with its razor-sharp claws. Run away, and it will annihilate you with its head-mounted laser cannon.
The likeness of this humanoid terror is faithfully captured by these two new collector’s items. The Assaultron Statue is an army green variant with markings that identify it as part of the US military. While the identically-sculpted Assaultron Prototype Statue features a “blank slate” look with its all-gray paint.
“I have been programmed to efficiently terminate human combatants!”
Modeled after their Fallout 76 iteration, these Assaultrons sport even the most minute features of their in-game counterparts. Just take a look at these closeups.
“There’s no way out of this!”
“Activating justice protocols!”
“Defensive protocols engaged.”
“Running close quarters sub-routine. Engaging at minimal distance.”
“We have a situation!”
At 8.3 inches (21.08 cm) tall, there’s plenty of room for this complex design. Gears, pipes, rivets and coils… they’re all part of the Assaultron’s killer looks. And they’re all rendered beautifully in Polyresin. Who knew that a robot could be so lifelike?
These two versions are sold separately and come in different limited-edition sizes: 600 for the army green Fallout Assaultron Statue, and 200 for the all-gray Fallout Assaultron Prototype Statue. All units are hand-painted and individually-numbered.
The statues’ circular base bears Fallout’s white gear silhouette. You can expect to see this feature again in the next wave of robots to storm the Bethesda Gear Store.
