Fallout X Luke Preece Drop New Limited Edition Collaboration
6 April 2021
“War. War never changes.” Fallout’s famous opening line is more than just a catchphrase. It’s been the subject of theories, debates, and even memes by fans and critics alike. We’re excited to launch a new artistic interpretation of this line today.
Introducing the Fallout 3 War Never Changes Lithograph and the Fallout 3 War Never Changes Tee—available now at the Bethesda Gear Store!
The lithograph features superb art by veteran comic artist Luke Preece, and a special green foil treatment on the Fallout 3 logo. It’s a limited edition run of only 600 art prints and retails at $45 USD.
The tee is a separate product that features the same artwork with some minor adjustments (and no green foil). Fans can get it for $26–30 USD in one of two different styles: with the Fallout 3 logo, or without.

TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
For its Game of the Year Edition box art, the critically-acclaimed Fallout 3 features the player character wearing a T-45 power armor and holding an AEP7 laser pistol.
Often seen on the Brotherhood of Steel’s combat personnel, this deadly combination forms the subject of the new Fallout 3 War Never Changes Lithograph.
The artwork, created by comic artist Luke Preece, looks like a movie poster or a comic book cover. It comes in an attention-grabbing green-and-black color palette which may remind players of radioactive material or a Pip-Boy screen.
If you look closely, you can see Preece’s meticulous attention to detail come into play. His masterly use of composition, cross-hatching and the monochromatic color scheme produce a gorgeous image that’s worth staring at again and again. The way he rendered metal creates a particularly satisfying effect.
Behind the character looms the symbol of the Brotherhood of Steel. If you look around, you can see more pieces of Fallout lore: a teddy bear, a Nuka-Cola model truck, and some caps. These little items seem harmless. But Fallout fans know that in Capital Wasteland, anything can be turned into ammunition.
That’s how an assortment of innocent-looking trinkets ended up in a piece with the words “WAR NEVER CHANGES” in big, bold letters.
Every inch of this 2 x 3 foot art print was made to look truly special, but the Fallout 3 logo takes it to a literal sense. Made with green foil, it adds a tasteful little glint to an already captivating piece.
The Fallout 3 War Never Changes Lithograph comes in a limited edition of only 600 prints.
If you want to wear this artwork, the Fallout 3 War Never Changes Tee gives you two options: one with the Fallout 3 logo, and one without.
