Garrus Vakarian is one of the most popular companions in the Mass Effect trilogy. And today, Development Plus Inc and the BioWare Gear Store are proud to announce the launch of two new limited-edition statues of the Turian bad boy.
The Garrus Vakarian Statue features him doing a little target practice. And the Garrus Vakarian Prototype Statue looks exactly the same, except that it’s completely covered in grey paint for your own custom paint job.
First teased in a tweet last month (that blew up the internet!), both versions are now separately available at the BioWare Gear Store... until their limited quantities are sold out!

TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
Not many who spot Garrus in this pose live to remember it. But if you’ve played the Mass Effect trilogy, it’s a sight that will give you fond flashbacks.
Both statues feature him aiming his M-92 Mantis sniper rifle while crouching from a strategic vantage point. We don’t want to spoil the plot for new players, so we’ll let the details speak for themselves. Veteran players take note. Look at his armor and the right side of his face.
Is there a specific moment that comes to mind?
Both are made of Polyresin, a stone-based compound that allows for intricate details and convincing depictions of different surfaces and materials. That’s how even the finest lines on his armor were sculpted, and why his armor, skin, and visor all look like they’re supposed to.
The statues are sold separately and come in different limited-edition sizes. All units are individually-numbered. Now, the big question for Garrus lovers is: Which one should I get?
If you want a replica of Garrus as he appeared in Mass Effect, choose the painted Garrus Vakarian Statue (Edition Size: 3,000). It captures the likeness of the character right down to the colors and even the weathering on his armor.
If you prefer a “raw” or “classical” look, choose the Garrus Vakarian Prototype Statue (Edition Size: 500). Covered in monochromatic gray paint, it would look right at home in a museum-inspired display. This version also happens to be the rarer of the two.
